This year’s Summer Party was our 10^th anniversary, a special year, so we opted for an overnight trip.

Little did we know, this was going to be the best Summer since ’76, so our gamble to go glamping paid off in style (excluding the sun rise at 4.45am), as we had a wonderful stay at Home Farm Glamping in Hertfordshire (www.homefarmglamping.com). 

We were treated to double beds, duvets and even marshmallows for the fire were also provided, so we were not exactly in the wild.  But we had a great dinner, and all failed to beat the magician and mind reader who came in to entertain us, who in doing so proved that we all still have much to learn!

There had to be some edge to the trip, so we all took on the Lost Jungle Crazy Golf Course.  Sadly, no course records were beaten, there were a few lost balls and some dubious scoring was noted.
