NEDSchool

Being an effective Non-Executive Director takes a great deal of hard work, self-motivation, resilience and development. Aspiring directors often face challenges as they underestimate the workload and responsibility.  Board chairs face pressure from various angles and there are many attributes that contribute to being an exceptional Chair – some are innate, but many are gained from experience. Our NEDSchool offers a complementary opportunity for NEDs and aspiring Chairs to listen to seasoned Non-Executive Directors and Chairs who share their wisdom and experience.

The Board Practice runs an annual NEDSchool – our initiative to increase the talent pool with high quality NEDs and Chairs. We run two separate half day sessions: one focusing on new NEDs the other focusing on NEDs who are seeking to step up to Chair.

Our NEDSchool supports NEDs and future Chairs achieve their goal as part of our focus on Performance, Evaluation & Development and with that, better leadership to the boardroom.
